Hijman Smalhout

Hijman Smalhout, geb. 20.07.1890 te Amsterdam, is met transport no.X op 15.09.1942, tezamen met zijn echtgenote Sara en zoon Henri, vanuit het Belgische kamp Mechelen, kazerne Dossin, naar Auschwitz gedeporteerd.

Tijdens de oorlog zat hij in Frankrijk.

Vermoedelijk is hij tijdens een poging om naar veiliger oorden te ontkomen, opgepakt en gevangen gezet.
