About Hildegard Verdoner-Sluizer

Hildegard Verdoner-Sluizer was married and had three children. Her husband and children survived the war. Hildegard Verdoner-Sluizer wrote letters during her stay in Transit Camp Westerbork. These documents are published in the book Signs of Life: the letters of Hilde Verdoner from Nazi Transit Camp Westerbork 1942-1944 (New York 1990).

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos files reveal that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 6887 / 21081).
