Philippus Zaligman was a son of Salomon Zaligman and Martha Wijnberg. His mother died in 1899; his father remarried in 1907, to Henderjetta Wijnberg, a sister of his first wife. Salomon Zaligman, Philippus Zaligman's half brother, was born from this second marriage.
Philippus Zaligman married Heintje Wilda. The couple had three children: Levie Salomon, Hendrika and a child that survived the war. …
