Salamon Roos and his family

Salamon Roos and his wife Anna van der Sluis had four children, three of whom were still living at home at the beginning of the war. The eldest son, Henri, born in 1920, lived and worked in Leiden. Salomon Roos ran a manufacturing business in Meppel in Woldstraat and also went on the road selling his merchandise. In July 1942 he was sent to work at Orvelte labour camp.
