Hugo Julius van Dam, the eldest son of Salomon van Dam and Diena Sternfeld, married 30 July 1942 in Rotterdam Beth Posner, a daughter of Jacob Posner and Rebecca Malkin. 14 January 1943 he was registered in Camp Westerbork and deported to Auschwitz 18 January.
