Samuel Sloves and his family

We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.

Nathan 'Neddie' Manassen

Nathan 'Neddie' Manassen zat tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog op het Joods Lyceum Rotterdam. Dat weten we omdat Neddie wordt genoemd in het dagboek van Esther van Vriesland (pagina 145 van de gedrukte versie).

Op 1 juli 1942 schreef Esther in haar dagboek dat ze met haar vriendin Saartje 'Sera' Sloves, haar klasgenoot Simon Hornman en met 'Neddy M.' van hun school aan de Speelmandwarsstraat in Krali…
