About Sara Leons

Sara Leons was a daughter of Louis Leons and Eva van der Maas. She was a seamstress by trade and unmarried. In contrast to what happened to her parents and brother Michiel, who have been registered in Camp Westerbork between 3 and 5 October 1942, Sara has been sent to Camp Westerbork already on 31 July 1942. From there she was deported to Auschwitz on 3 August and eventually killed there on 30 Sep…
