Arent (Arie) Tof was de jongste zoon van Mozes Tof en Johanna van Dam. Hij was getrouwd met Anna Hammelburg. Zijn vrouw en dochter hebben de oorlog overleefd.

Arent Tof (nicknamed Arie) was a cattle merchant. He was married. The couple lived at 100 Hoofdkade in Ter Apel. They had one child. Arend Tof and his wife handed in their bikes in Ter Apel.
