Mietje Velleman was the widow of Salomon Ensel, diamond polisher. Mietje and Salomon had five children. Three of the children died at a young age. Elisabeth, Judith and Juda all had their own families. Salomon died in Amsterdam and was buried in Diemen on March 24, 1940.
