Engelina Margaretha Carry Lissaur (known as Ellien) was a pupil at the Montessori school De Wielewaal at Corellistraat 1 in Amsterdam. She was deported to Bergen-Belsen during the war. After the liberation of the camp, she was taken to Malmö (Sweden) to recover. On 15 May 1945, Ellien Lissaur was taken to a temporary hospital in Landskrona. She died there, as a result of the hardships she had suffered during the war. She was buried in Malmö. A plaque with the name of Engelina Margaretha Carry Lissaur has been put up at the Montessori school that she attended.
