Salomon Emanuel Leuw was the son of Hermanus Leuw and Bertha Emanuel.

Salomon Emanuel Leuw was previously married to Leentje Velleman. She died in 1928 in Alkmaar. They had a child that survived the war. In 1929 Salomon Leuw remarried Sientje Stern. Their last known address was Hofmeyerstraat 13-I in Amsterdam.
