About Werner Dobrzyner

Werner Dobrzyner lived with his parents and his brother Manfred and another sister/brother at the Nieuwe Herengracht 107 II in Amsterdam. He was a tailor.
He was killed in concentration camp Buchenwald and cremated. The urn with his ashes was placed on the Jewish cemetry in Diemen on 23 July 1941.

Victims of february-raids gassed in Hartheim Castle.

On 22 and 23 Febuary 1941, raids took place in Amsterdam,  in which 390 Jewish men were arrested and deported. Only two of them survived. A recent investigation has shown that more than 100 men were gassed in Hartheim Castle, while Mauthausen was established as the official place of death.
