Jacob Lap, born 12 June 1898 in Amsterdam, was a son of Marcus Lap and Debora Juda and besides working as diamond worker, he was also an office clerk by profession. On 6 January 1927 he married in Amsterdam Marianne Waterman, born 3 July 1899 in Amsterdam as daughter of Levie Waterman and Leentje Speijer. The death of Jacob Lap

Research into the wartime civil registries of one of the civil registry offices in Upper Silesias (Poland) discovered many records that corresponded to deaths of inmates from the "Reichsautobahnlager Annaburg" and "Zwangsarbeitslager Niederkirch" camps.
