Elisabeth is een dochter van Philippus Vreedenburg en Sophia Canes. Ze trouwde 15 februari 1928 met Alfred Leek (24 jaar, handelsreiziger van beroep), zoon van Benjamin Leek en Johanna Sinaasappel. Het paar scheidde 27 mei 1940.
