Naatje Boutelje-Huisman probeerde in de tweede helft van augustus 1942 Nederland te ontvluchten, samen met nog 15 andere joden uit Scheveningen. Ze werden opgepakt en via kamp Mechelen naar Auschwitz gedeporteerd.
