Sophia Blom was a daughter of Marcus Jacob Blom and Rozette de Vries. She married in Leiden on 14 July 1897 to Salomon Salomon, a son of Marcus Salomon and Catharina Marcus Raggelaar. As far as could be ascertained the couple had no children.

Marcus Jacob Blom, born in Alkemade on 6 January 1849, a son of Emamuel Blom and Fijtje Polak, was married three times. His first wife, Rozette de Vries was a daughter of Joseph de Vries and Hanna Marcus de Vries, who he had married in Leiden on 5 July 1871.
