Mozes Hijman Klein

Hijman Moses Klein was the owner of a small factory in electrical appliances in Hilversum. He led the factory together with his son, who was also an officer in the Dutch army. In 1941 the company was placed under the supervision of verwalter. Jewish staff was dismissed.

Mozes Hijman Klein and his wife Emma Klein-Mayer were in hiding. On the train from one hiding place to another, they were caught by the SD. At the time of their arrest several items of jewelry and a batch of diamonds were taken from them. The couple had two children who survived the war.
