The older woman seated is Rosalind van Rhijn-de Groot. My great-grandmother. The older man behind her is Hartog van Rhijn, my great-grandfather. The woman seated on the far right is Keetje van Rhijn-Berkelouw, David van Rhijn, her husband, standing behind her. Seated lower front woman in glasses is Henrietta de Vries-van Rhijn and her husband far left, Samson. The man to the left of Hartog is another son, Emmanuel van Rhijn. My grandfather not pictured, Meijer (Max) van Rhijn as I knew him had already immigrated to America. David and his wife Keetje had two sons, David and Eddie.

David van Rhyn and his family

David van Rhyn was the son of Hartog van Rhyn and Rosaline de Groot. David married in 1921 in Rotterdam to Keetje Berkelouw, daughter of Elias Berkelouw and Hanna de Bok.
