Since 1924 Jacob Marcus Walg owned a shop in knitware and draper's goods. The business was located on the Bagijnestraat 5 in Zwolle. In March 1934 the company moved to the Voorstraat 24 and in March 1938 the company became ‘solely a wholesale in draper's goods, fancy goods, knitware etc. in the broadest sense’. In accordance with § 7 VO 48/1941 (Nazi regulation to remove Jews from the trade and industry) the company was dissolved in August 1942.
