About Jacob Marcus Walg

Since 1924 Jacob Marcus Walg owned a shop in knitware and draper's goods. The business was located on the Bagijnestraat 5 in Zwolle. In March 1934 the company moved to the Voorstraat 24 and in March 1938 the company became ‘solely a wholesale in draper's goods, fancy goods, knitware etc. in the broadest sense’. Deportatie

Volgens de cartotheek van Westerbork is Jacob Marcus Walg vermoedelijk in april 1942 gedetineerd in Kamp Amersfoort, blok 3a, nr. 613. Op 16.07.1942 wordt hij via Westerbork naar Auschwitz gedeporteerd.

Jacob Marcus Walg is na aankomst in Auschwitz geselecteerd voor dwangarbeid. Hij werd geregistreerd als gevangene nummer 48481.
