Sophia Lisser was a daughter of Markus Salomon Lisser and Kaatje Nathan Sluijs. She married in Amsterdam on 28 November 1883 to Isaac Roodveldt, who passed away on 6 December 1940. The couple had 10 children: Kaatje, Mozes, Mietje, Abraham, Esther, Lea, Marcus, Jesaia, Aron and Selina. None of them survived the Holocaust.
