In 1941 a child was born to Elisabeth Blog and Mozes Polak. After a raid in 1943 the child was taken to safety in South Limburg, where it was raised under an assumed name. Fourteen years later, an uncle discovered his nephew and the child rejoined the Jewish community, in Amsterdam.
