Child of Jacques Neuburger and his family

Since 25 May 1937 the Neuburger-Solomons family lived on the Raamgracht 53-boven. On 29 August 1940 they moved to the Valkenburgerstraat 23-III.

André Neuburger was hidden by the lovely Herinx family in Kerkrade, Limburg, Netherlands. Josef Herinx was involved with the resistance and happily took in André. Eventually André was moved to the house of Theresa Herinx-Smeets, Josef's mother, for his own saftey.

He stayed with Theresa until the end of the war and grew close with Josef and his family.
