The funeral records at the Jewish cemetery in Arnhem reveal that a memorial stone is placed for Sophia Salomons.

Het adres in de advertentie was niet correct. Sophie Salomons' adres was namelijk Nieuwstad 43 te Arnhem en niet de Nieuwstraat 43. Die vergissing werd wel vaker gemaakt.

Sophia, Jetje en Aaltje were three daughters of Lion Salomons and Sientje Levie. In this family there were seven other children, of whom Naatje, Mozes, Grietje and Isaak had died before the war. Two brothers, Salomon and Abraham died in the war. One child survived.
