The funeral records at the Jewish cemetery in Katwijk a/d Rijn reveal that Herman Meijer was buried there.

We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.

Op 23 juni 1920 trouwde de Oost-Groningse veehandelaar Jozef (Jo) Meijer in Onstwedde met Greta (Grietje) Wolf uit Stadskanaal. Op 3 juli 1920 liet Jo zich op de Apothekersdijk 24 in Leiden registreren. Twee broers van hem woonden met hun familie ook in Leiden: Herman en Salomon.
