About Abraham Appelboom

Abraham Appelboom, butcher, was a son of Samuel Appelboom and Roosje Sluijzer. He married 27 May 1942 in Amsterdam Judith van Kleef, a daughter of Benjamin van Kleef and Henriette de Leon. The couple had in November 1942 a son Samuel Benjamin, who has survived the Holocaust. Abraham's father passed away already before the war.

Abraham Appelboom had five other siblings: Salomon, Levie, Mozes, Mathilda en Dina. One brother has survived the Holocaust but the others, also Abraham self, have been killed in the Shoah.
