About Schoontje Kornalijnslijper-Pampel

Schoontje Pampel was a daughter of Mozes Pampel and Saartje Digtmaker. She married 16 September 1903 in Amsterdam to Gompert Kornalijnslijper, a son of Nathan Tobias Kornalijnslijper and Adriana Weeler.
The couple had four children, of whom one daughter has survived the war. However Nathan, Sara and Elisabeth have been killed during the Holocaust.
Gompert Kornalijnslijper passed away in Amsterdam on 7 January 1936 and was interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen.

Schoontje was born in a family with ten children. One baby brother and a baby sister have died at a very young age and her brother Abraham died in December 1941 in Amsterdam and was interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen. Her other sisters, namely Betje, Roosje, Rachel, Klara, Esther and Eva have been killed during the Holocaust.
