Salomon Schrijver was a son of David Schrijver and Betje Walvis. He married in Amsterdam on 21 December 1938 to Johanna Brilleman, daughter of Hartog Brilleman and Kaatje Mullem. The couple had a daughter Betty in 1940. Mother and daughter have survived the Holocaust.
