Alida van der Horst married Joseph Vos, a son of Isaac Vos and Alida de Vries, on 18 March 1942 in Amsterdam.
Alida van der Horst was born in a family with seven children, of whom three children have survived the war. The other siblings, Meijer, Simon and Izaak have been killed during the Holocaust.
