Adolf Klein and his family

Adolf (known as Dolf) Klein was a son of Jacob Klein and Rosetta Frankforter. He married Vroukje de Vries. The couple did not have any children. Adolf Klein had a handicrafts shop at Kruisstraat 5 in Meppel, where he sold items such as needlework, stockings and thread.
Adolf Klein was forced to go to Orvelte labour camp in July 1942, and stayed there until 3 October 1942, when he was transferred to Westerbork transit camp. There he saw his wife again, who had been taken from their home that same night.
