Door: rpm_bln

Edith Sander was the daughter of Albert Sander (15.06.1883) and Selma Stern (20.12.1894) who lived in Oberbieber, now part of the Neuwied community in Germany. She emigrated to Amsterdam on 30.06.1939. Her parents were deported from Trier/Köln on 27.07.1942 to Ghetto Theresienstadt and again on 29.01.1943 to Auschwitz, where they were murdered. Edith was killed in an allied bombing attack on Amsterdam. There is a Stolperstein memorial for all three at the house they lived in at Wallbachstraße 12 (formerly house nr. 5) in Oberbieber.
