Renate Borchert

Renate came tot he Netherlands on December 6th, 1938 with a Kindertransport. First she stayed in the quarantine facility in Amsterdam, then in the Noorderhuis in Ruinen (Hoogeveen), in the Boschhuis in Driebergen, in Amerongen (Onze Bliscap), in the Bondshuis in Soesterberg, in the quarantine facility in Rotterdam, in the Achterklooster in Rotterdam, and in April 1940 she went to the orphanage in Rotterdam.
She had to leave there in the fall of 1940 and then went to the orphanage in Utrecht.
Renate had an aunt, living in Amsterdam, Felicie Florentine Cohn Bloch-Rau.
She was supposed to emigrate to Brazil.
