Ernst Kann was born in Duisburg in 1895. He had a textile factory in Goch and later on in Gennep, where he moved in 1933. Ernst Kann was married to Hedwig (neé Koppel from Goch). They had two children Rosemarie (1930) and Lore (1923) both born in Goch.
