Roosjes second husband was Isidoor Rabinowitsch, to whom she was married in January 1942. He too lost his life in Auschwitz on 17 September 1943.

It is to conclude from the family registration card of Joël Barber, that the entire family emigrated to Johannesburg in South Africa on 12 May 1936, which were Joël Barber, his wife Elisabeth Haamerslag, his daughter Greta and son Juda.
