Siegfried Gutmann and Else Goldschmidt came from Frankfurt am Main to Amsterdam in October 1937. The year before they left Germany, they sent their son Hermann Gutmann, born in Frankfurt, to boarding school in England. Hermann married in England and had three children. There were 11 grandchildren born.
He died, as Dennis Goodman, in London, 2007.
