Levie Bacharach, an unrecognized, natural son of Aaltje Bacharach, married Ester Levitus in Arnhem on 19 May 1937. Levie Bacharach and Ester Levitus met in Arnhem. Levie Bacharach was a nurse at the Apeldoornse Bos. After they married they lived at 23 Abrikozenweg in Apeldoorn, where their daughter Gretha Bacharach was born on 14 March 1939.
Levie Bacharach died on 29 October 1940 of injuries he sustained during the Nazi invasion of the Netherlands in May 1940.
