About Leopold Pollack

Leopold Pollack and his two sons were the owners of Delicia, a pastry shop and lunchroom in Beethovenstraat that was well known in Amsterdam’s southern district in the 1930s. During the 1942 razzias, the occupying forces assigned Delicia the task of providing food for the Jews being held in the Hollandsche Schouwburg pending their transport to Westerbork.
