Dina Deen was a daughter of Levie Josef Deen and Margaretha Zomerplaag. She married 22 June 1910 in Amsterdam to Emanuel de Jong, a son of Hartog de Jong and Hanna Rijksman. Dina had two daughters with Emanuel de Jong: Anna and Margaretha.
Dina divorced Emanuel de Jong on 10 November 1936 and remarried 6 October 1937 in Amsterdam to the widower of Grietje Bromet, Levie Smeer, a son of Aron Smeer and Sara Appel.
From Levie's first marriage, he had seven surviving children, who, however, have been killed all during the Holocaust.
