Rachel Zak was a daughter of Jacob Zak and Cornelia Pots. She married in Amsterdam on 14 April 1926 Philip Aronson, a son of Samuel Aronson and Kaatje Peper. The couple had two children as mentioned here.
Rachel had three other brothers and two sisters: one brother survived the war, however not his wife Anna Italiaander. Her brothers Michiel, Simon and her sisters Elisabeth and Judith have been killed too during the Holocaust.
