Elisabeth Elzas was a daughter of Joseph Elzas and Engel van de Kar. She married 5 November 1890 to Elias Kool, a son of Asser Kool and Saartje Benjamin Schijveschuurder.
Elisabeth and Elias had ten children together, of whom Kaatje and Benjamin have died at very young age. The other children, who have been killed during the Holocaust were Saartje, Joseph, Engeltje, Asser, Mathilde, Marianne, Aaltje and Branca.
However, Elias Kool passed away on 30 June 1920 and Elisabeth Elzas remarried the widower of Saartje de Klein in Amsterdam on 30 August 1933, a son of Israel Mozes de Magtige and Eva Marcus.
