Albert Premsela was very sporty, played tennis and always looked well-groomed. He was sent to Westerbork twice, but also returned. He then cleaned the house for when his parents came back. He managed to send several postcards from Westerbork to a female friend.

According to the death records of camp Sachsenhausen Albert Premsela died on 20 December 1944. It is possible this date is different from the official day of death as established after the war by the Department of Justice.
