Grietje Pront, daughter of Hartog Pront and Sara Werkheim, was born in a family with twelve children; her parents aswell one sister and one unmarried brother have passed away before the war. However not her brothers Mozes, Izak, Simon and Willem nor her sisters Mietje, Jeannette, Elisabeth, Naatje and Rosalina. They all have been killed during the Holocaust.
Grietje Pront married Abraham Zwaaf in Amsterdam on 24 December 1913, a son of Jacob Zwaaf and Christina Vleesdrager.
