Vrouwtje Ketellapper was a daughter of Marcus Ketellapper and Rachel Bonewit. She married 6 August 1919 in Amsterdam to Isaac van Loon, a son of Salomon van Loon and Marianna Bonewit. The couple had three children.
Vrouwtje was born in a family with ten children. Two of her sisters have passed away before the war. Her other siblings, Isaac, Abraham, Hijman, Marianne, Leentje, Nathan and Alexander, have been killed during the Holocaust.
