Eduard de Leeuwe was the owner of an electrical supply shop where he also sold bicycles. His shop was on the corner of the Oranjestraat and the Grotestraat in Almelo and was called ‘De Dageraad’ (The Dawn).
His marriage with Esther Ferares was his second one.
