Klaartje Cutzien was a daughter of Benjamin Aron Cutzien and Judik Kan. She married Marcus Abraham Menk on 8 April 1913 in Zutphen, a son of Abraham Menk, butcher and Sibilla Spier. One child has survived the Holocaust but Klaartje and Marcus Abraham have been killed both in Auschwitz on 26 January 1943.
Klaartje was born into a family with five children: herself, Serlina, Hanna, Meyer and Aron. All have been killed with their families in the Shoah.
