Gerhard Wallage was the son of Levie Wallage and Jetta Valk. He married in 1902 to Saartje de Levie, daughter of Haijo de Levie and Harmanna van Praag. Gerhard and Saartje had six children. Moritz was one of them, so was Bernhard.
