About Aron Sealtiel

Aron Sealtiel was a son of Israel Sealtiel and Betje Koort. Originally, he was a butcher.
Until February 1926 hr runned a small business in hats and caps at the Kleine Wittenburgerstraat 86.
Afterwards, he was a street vendor for some time. Then, he was occupied as electrician for N. de Leeuw at Van Woustraat 205.
In 1931 he became unemployed. He tried for some time selling radio's in order to maintain his family. In 1938 he started at "Fieyra", at Sarphatistraat 113, as fitter-supervisor. In 1940 this business closed down until further notice.
His son Isreal went to the HBS in 1941.
