About Judith van der Woude-Zak

Judith Zak was a daughter of Jacob Zak and Cornelia Pots. She was the second spouse of Marcus van der Woude, to whom she got married on 21 October 1931 in Amsterdam. He was a son of Gompert van der Woude and Leentje Gobetz. The two children from that first marriage, stayed with their father and lived in with him and his 2nd wife. Together, Judith and Marcus had no children.
Judith had three other brothers and two sisters: one brother has survived the war, however not his wife Anna Italiaander. Her brothers Michiel, Simon and her sisters Elisabeth and Rachel have been killed too during the Holocaust.
