Abraham Halverstad was a son of Soesman Halverstad and Eva Halberstadt. He married in Amsterdam on 30 May 1912 to Sara Verdoner, a daughter of Isaac Verdoner and Judic Boekman.
Abraham was deported from Mechelen (Belgium) on 12 Septembner 1942 with Convoy 9 to Auschwitz.
