Leentje van Dam was a daughter of Levie Andries van Dam and Frouktje Tromp. Her first marriage was divorced. Two of the four children, born in this marriage, have survived the war.
After the divorce she could stay owner of the butcher's shop.
Leentje van Dam married then her nephew Andries. All children that were born in this marriage were murdered in Auschwitz.
